Setting:
Miles off the shores of Hokkaido Japan, there is an island called Rokken. More American than Japanese in appearance. It's a town of many stories, of great romances, and violence. Mystery, and miracles cling to the legends of this small island. Although everyone here seems as laid back as possible, they're quite judgmental. Which often is the cause of the romances and violence. Here the Elders rule over the public opinion. They act as the government. Making laws and enforcing them.
This often interferes with the life quests of the youth here. Some are secretive about their lovers and attractions. While others advertise it. Being a town of roughly 1,500 thousand inhabitants, word travels fast if someone is acting against the elders wishes.
